“Paris, enough said”
Ever since
I saw the movie “Midnight in Paris” with Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams (who I've had a crush on since forever) I've wanted to visit Paris. Everyone knows Paris, the Eiffel Tower,
Nutella Crepes, The Louvre Museum, and the list goes on and on. There are
people from all over the world and if you walk around you’ll probably hear more
languages than you could have expected. We stayed in Paris for a couple of days
and got together with other MBAs. So far I feel like me and my other classmate
who I’m traveling with are the ones who’ve seen the most places in Europe.
Although this trip has been awesome so far I feel a little sad. It reminds me
of my first days in Dallas when I just adjusting and getting used to being away
from all my family and friends. Although this does not completely apply to this
and I’m not sure If I’m using this properly, the phrase “you never know what
you have until you lose it” comes to my mind. I’ve met a lot of different
people so far and heard a lot of different stories but still find it a little
hard to open myself as other people do. It’s something I’ve been working on
lately and this trip has helped me discover many new things I didn’t know about
myself. If I’ve learned so much in less than a week, I can’t wait to know what
I’ll discover by the end of this trip. Days in Paris were really awesome and
the next stop is Lyon to meet with the rest of the MBA’s, I’m a little anxious
to see what UTD has prepared for us.
Cool pose outside the Louvre Museum
The interior of a small chapel we found wondering around the city
I was amazed by the number of locks in the bridge. I was worried it would fall because of the weight! I read they are taking them down now so I was lucky to have a chance to see them J
Selfie with the interior of the Eiffel Tower!
Wondering arround Paris with some Cohorts!
Map of the Subway in Paris. We have a transportation system in Peru which, although is a lot smaller is a little similar, so that was somehow helpful into decifring this beast!
Inside the Louvre Museum, that painting was about 10 times my size.
When going to the Cathedral, we bumped into this Bread Festival. One thing about Paris, they makethe best baggettes in the world.
